Lorna has been with Hicks and Company since December 2009, after being with another local practice where she gained 5 years’ experience in accountancy and taxation whilst completing the AAT qualification. Prior to that, she obtained A Levels in Accountancy and Business Studies. Lorna completed her ACCA exams in April 2016 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.
Lorna works in our Hemel Hempstead office in a managerial role responsible for her own client base. She deals with a wide variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Her work includes accounts preparation, personal and corporation tax computation and VAT return preparation. She also provides weekly and monthly bookkeeping services for several clients and the preparation of management accounts.
Outside of work Lorna enjoys spending time with her two young children and has been a member of local hockey clubs for 24 years.
